Frozen Pipes - Yikes!

One of the most coveted aspects of living in Western Kentucky is that we get to experience each of the four seasons - brisk and bright springs, warm summers at the lake, crisp and colorful falls, and cold winters with picturesque snow. However, with these seasons come certain hazards for your home or business.

Generally every winter when temperatures drop below freezing for several days, we have many customers who experience huge water losses. This is due to pipes that freeze with the frozen temperatures, then burst once the pipes thaw. This occurred at this customer's home and caused a loss of the majority of the contents in her home. SERVPRO quickly responded to the scene and removed all damaged material and salvaged the contents that were not saturated.
