Freezing Temperatures - Bad New for Pipes!
SERVPRO of Murray, Benton, Cadiz, and Princeton received a call around midnight about a large water loss at a local business. The loss was the result of a pipe burst after several days of temperatures below freezing. When the SERVPRO of Murray, Benton, Cadiz, and Princeton crew arrived, they saw several inches of standing water and saturated ceilings and walls. This can be seen in the before image. The crew got to work right away, extracting water - even the boss got in on the action! Once the standing water was removed, dehumidifiers and fans could be set up to continue the dry-out process.
